Wabo®FireShield FSH is a second generation unified fire rated, sound, energy and waterproof sealant system. This fire-retardant impregnated foam does not rely on the silicone face or an intumescent coating to provide its fire rating.

After many months of working closely with the client engineers Wabo Fireshield was selected to provide the fire retardant expansion joint systems for the prestigious new development on the old Coronation Street site. Over 1700m of Wabo FireShield (horizontal and vertical) was supplied and installed to the new Theatre complex.

FireShield at Manchester Airport multi-storey car park
Wabo Fireshield was specified as the new fireproof expansion control system to be installed at a brand new self service multistory car park at Manchester Airport. Firehshield, along with Safetyflex cover plates, were supplied and installed over several floors of the new structure.
Wabo®FireShield and Wabo®SafetyFlex were the perfect choice for this $200 million mixed use developement.
Two hockey rinks, a 205-room Marriott hotel, various retailers, restaurants and a 750-car indoor parking garage make up the 600,000 sq. ft. complex that is Harbor Center. Located in downtown Buffalo, NY – the backyard of Watson Bowman Acme’s corporate HQ – this mixed use development is a shining $200 million contribution to the city’s downtown revitalisation and represents another building block in Terry & Kim Pegula’s legacy of investment in Buffalo.
