Wabo Evazote has been specified and approved for use at various Thames Tideway sites across the £4.3 billion project. With its excellent hydrostatic resistance as well as easy installation and ongoing maintennace, it’s now used for access chambers, manhole access ports and between slabs across the project.

The Thames Tideway Tunnel is a 25 km combined sewer under construction, running mostly under the tidal section of the River Thames across Inner London to capture, store and convey almost all the raw sewage and rainwater that currently overflows into the estuary.

Wabo®Evazote UV is preformed low density closed cell joint seal that is bonded into place with a two component 100% solids modified epoxy adhesive. Wabo®Evazote has a working movement range of 60% compression, 30% tension and 120% shear. The UV stability of Wabo®Evazote allows the seal to be resistant to abrasion, oxidation, oils, salt and other materials that are spilled on or applied to the surface. UV
